Sarah Miles has been appointed general manager of Diageo GB's reserve brands with immediate effect.

Miles will sit on the Diageo GB executive, as well as leading the reserve team. She will be based in London and will report to Simon Litherland, Diageo GB’s managing director.

She has worked on the business' flagship brands including Smirnoff and Captain Morgan.

Prior to joining Diageo she worked at Reuters.

Simon Litherland, said: "I am delighted to welcome Sarah back to Diageo GB. She brings with her a great breadth of marketing and business experience.

"I am confident she will lead the GB reserve team and continue its growth in this market, and I and the rest of the executive look forward to welcoming her to the team."
