The top five cabin crews were: Virgin with 53%; Singapore with 18%; Etihad with 12%; Emirates with 11%, and Aer Lingus with 6%. The survey of 1,000 business travellers was conducted by the Business Travel and Meetings Show (BTMS).
In October last year, Virgin Atlantic launched a £6m ad campaign called 'Feeling Good', which mixed the style James Bond movie credits with a tongue in cheek tone to cast the airlines pilots, stewards and stewardesses as uber-glamorous.
The ad followed on from the 'Still red hot' campaign to celebrate the airline's 25th year in the air.
BTMS said Virgin's "red hot uniforms" played to the crew's image as "super sexy and glamorous in the airline’s advertisements".
