The Nasdaq stockmarket is using the internet to market itself to UK
investors by going ahead with a web-based information service aimed at the
UK, following a four-month trial.
The site (www.nasdaq-uk.com) provides free access to share prices,
European market news, and news of the 5,000 companies listed on the Nasdaq
Stock market, as well as those in the New York, US and London stock
Investors can pull up share prices for up to 10 companies at a time, and
there’s also a ticker displaying the10 most active stocks on screen.
