Huber's replacement will drive the French cosmetics giant's marketing
strategy for Lancome, Helena Rubenstein and the prestige and collections
perfumes which include Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren. As the luxury
products division carries out more NPD than the consumer and the
business-to-business divisions, the successful candidate will also be
responsible for overseeing the bulk of product launches.
At last week's financial results, L'Oreal's chief executive Lindsay
Owen-Jones highlighted ethnic brand Soft Sheen Carson, luxury label
Cacharel and dermatological skin cream La Roche-Posay as "future star
which will be top of the list for additional marketing
Owen-Jones also identified mens' toiletries and products with a
medicinal positioning as key areas to target in the future.
