The Autumn Ideal Home Show will take place at Earl's Court from October 3 to 12 next year. According to DMG World Media vice-president Brenda Daly, the show aims to tap into the huge consumer interest in homes and gardens. It also aims to build on the popularity of the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show, which takes place in the spring and which attracts an average 450,000 visitors over 26 days.
Daly is already talking to creative, media and PR agencies, including AMV Advance and PHD, the incumbents on the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show, about a campaign to include press, posters and radio. The brief is to build on the success of the existing Ideal Home Show and to position the autumn show as a must-visit event. DMG World Media is also seeking a headline sponsor for the autumn show.
An Autumn Ideal Home Show already takes place in Glasgow.
