Burger King names marketing chief to replace Joseph

LONDON - Burger King UK has promoted Paul Reynish to be its new top marketer in the wake of Anna Joseph's sudden resignation.

Reynish has been involved on the Burger King brand for seven years, mostly in New Zealand and Australia, where he was head of marketing until earlier this year.

He recently joined the UK team as senior marketing manager and has now been promoted to head of marketing, with all members of the UK marketing team reporting directly to him.

Anna Joseph has left Burger King after just three months as marketing director to join consultancy Eden McCallum.

Burger King was bought from drinks giant Diageo by a consortium of venture capital companies this week after a protracted takeover process. The final price was £945m, around a third less than the original price considered by the two parties.
