Food Standards Agency turkey campaign

A man-sized uncooked turkey wreaks havoc on a typical family on Christmas Day in the Food Standards Agency's campaign to highlight the potential dangers of undercooking the festive bird. The seasonal TV campaign, created by HHCL and Partners, breaks on Friday (December 20) and will run until midday on December 25. It shows the turkey jumping out from behind decorations, startling dad who is relaxing watching TV, knocking over the Christmas tree and squashing the mince pies. As dad and the turkey wrestle for control of the TV remote, a voiceover reminds us that every year turkey spoils Christmas for thousands of people and reminds viewers to avoid food poisoning by safely defrosting and then cooking the bird properly.
