The BBC aims to convey the drama and unpredictability of the FA Cup in its credits promoting its third-round coverage. The ads dramatise the sense of dread that Premiership players feels going in to an FA Cup match that might see his team eliminated by a minnow. The creative work, by BBC Broadcast, shows an apparition who appears to four of the game's top players - Gianfranco Zola, Ashley Cole, Jamie Redknapp and Emile Heskey - to portray their fears at being the victims of a 'giant killing'. The campaign evolves from last year's concept of 'Great drama from the BBC', with the new endline 'It's giant killing time again. The FA Cup: great drama from the BBC'. TV spots break on December 21 and run until January 5, with posters from December 31 until January 13.
