Spray Vit is the first mass-market vitamin product to be available in spray format in the UK, although premium brands have been sold in stores such as Harvey Nichols.
The range comprises five types of vitamins, named Revitalise, Healthy Heart, Immune, Multi-Vit and a child's product. Spray consumption has proved more effective than taking tablets, as the substance is absorbed into the bloodstream faster.
Packaging and brand identity is by Lippa Pearce. The product is packaged in sleek silver tubes with colour-coded bases to identify the varieties.
Lippa Pearce managing director Giles Calver said Boots wanted to target people outside traditional vitamin-takers.
