The energy giant has appointed integrated agency Joshua to handle its direct marketing and advertising.
Activity will start in June, once it has been established that the service is running smoothly. Initially, a promotional direct mail campaign will target Centrica's 905,000 business customers. Centrica has a 29% share of the commercial energy sector.
Joshua was hired following a pitch against three undisclosed agencies.
Fiona Fovargue, Centrica Business Services' head of direct marketing and public relations, managed the process.
