Based on aromatherapy oils, the Twiggy range will be marketed with the strapline 'Skincare for body and mind'.
The line will include a body lotion, face lotion, gentle cleansing gel, soothing eye serum and night cream. It will also be sold via Twiggy's website, www.twiggyskincare.co.uk, and will be offered in two introductory packs: one to combat ageing and the other for daily cleansing.
Twiggy will front the campaign with personal appearances at Asda outlets.
Sampling sachets will be distributed in-store.
The range will be promoted as dermatologically tested, alcohol-free and not tested on animals. The products will be priced from £4.99 to £7.78.
