To make the Vidal Sassoon brand more accessible, Sassoon Studios will offer an affordable range of services to appeal to fashion-conscious women aged 25 to 45.
Sassoon Studios will take on upmarket, fashionable, high-street hair salons, such as Toni & Guy, with complete packages including Get the Look, which includes a cut, colour and finish for £76.
The chain's first UK location will be in Nottingham, followed by a salon in Edinburgh. Further salons will be rolled out across the UK and the US, including Chicago, during the next 12 months.
Marketing activity for the launch is being handled by public relations agency Dark Horse.
Vidal Sassoon currently operates 25 salons around the world.
