Marketing Mix: Pen Portrait - Ned Booth, managing director of Travelocity

This writer needs no outside criticism as he provides plenty for himself. He is self-critical and self-analytical. Believe me, nothing escapes his beady eye.

People who want to criticise his output had better be sure of their facts, as he will have got there before them.

His 't' bars, 'i' dots and punctuation have been placed precisely. He is a perfectionist creative - the worst sort. His ideas will be quite superb and tailored to a T. A first-class interpreter, he seems to know what people want or mean even before they have worked it out for themselves.

Charlotte Harper, marketing director of Travelocity, says: Ned is very creative, and always comes up with solutions before anyone else. You need to be ahead of the game if you challenge him - he knows what he's on about.

Diane Simpson FRSA, a founder member of the British Institute of Graphologists, has written three books about handwriting analysis.

She has devised a chart enabling her to analyse 18 key measurements of handwriting. A member of the Appeal Council of the Psychiatry Research Trust, Diane is also an acclaimed after-dinner speaker.
