Samuel Solley takes the hassle out of finding the right product or service - you ask the question, he'll provide the answer.

Q: We are interested in making CD and DVD copies of our productions, but are confused by terms such as replication and duplication. Where can we go for some sensible advice?

A: Try getting in touch with Oneway Media (08700 114 224) or Friendly Mouse (08709 000 016), both of which would be happy to advise you.

Whether you opt for duplication or replication depends on the number of copies you want.

For up to 500 copies, you would probably be advised to go for duplication, which involves copying a master to produce other discs. For bigger runs, replication manufactures copies from a glass master.

Q: I need to organise some quality business gifts with a travel theme. Could you suggest something suitable?

A: BPP&A (01862 821 777) has a wide range of executive gifts such as glass globes, some of which are freestanding while others are set on a wooden or glass base.

All of them can be branded with a logo or text.

The company has 15 years' experience of producing promotional items and could offer you a lot of alternatives, including travel wallets.

Q: We are planning product launches in the food sector later this year and are thinking of supporting them with some integrated field marketing. Can you recommend a company that could help us?

A: In a congested media marketplace, field - or experiential - marketing is one of the most powerful ways for a brand to make an impact.

If you would like to chat through a few options (such as sampling, roadshows or demonstrations), try contacting Blue Water (01296 689 089) or Field Sales Solutions (01844 269 400). Both are creative companies with the experience you need.

Q: Do you know where we can find some classic arcade games machines?

A: Originally set up to sell cigarette machines and table-football games to the licensed trade, Mighty Mast Leisure (01375 385 020) now offers all kinds of brandable leisure equipment and games.

Its 118-in-1 Arcade Machine features 118 classic games and is available in coin-operated or free-play versions, with arcade button and joystick controls.
