Shell International has appointed corporate communications
consultancy Fishburn Hedges and ad agency J Walter Thompson (JWT) to
review how it presents its divisions around the world.
The push has been prompted by recent negative publicity, including Brent
Spar and the company’s operations in Nigeria.
The account is worth dollars 30m (pounds 18m) for the first year.
Fishburn Hedges will look at Shell’s audiences and improving its
corporate activity, and JWT will look at tying this in with TV
