Gordon Gourlay has been appointed to the new role of strategy and marketing director in the Post Office's financial services division. He joins from the Royal Bank of Scotland where he was director of channel delivery in retail marketing for both the RBS and NatWest brands. Claire Oldstein, previously head of product development, has been made head of marketing. She replaces Mike Smith, who has left to take up a marketing role at software company Misys. Phil Ashkuri becomes head of insurance, moving from the same role at Egg, while Gary Fitton has been hired as head of lending, having moved from head of borrowing at Egg.
