a bump, but he might still be deflated to hear what some of his Virgin
Airways pilots are listening to in the cockpit.
It seems that shortly after taking off from New York and Boston, pilots
are locking in to a frequency they can hear all the way back to the
Unfortunately, this signal is not a Virgin station but Atlantic 252.
’It’s not unusual for pilots to lock in to a signal that they know is in
the direction they should be flying through the automated direction
finder. It just so happens that Atlantic is the one they’re picking up.’
Apparently, Atlantic 252 is now hoping Rajar will include its
