The Pernod Ricard brand's Heritage range will comprise wines priced up to £25. Each will have a distinctive look, but will be clearly branded as part of the Jacob's Creek family. They will go on sale in upmarket retailers including Waitrose from early 2006.
Included in the expanded new-world portfolio will be a St Hugo Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, Jacob's Creek Steingarten Riesling and Centenary Hill Shiraz.
The Riesling will be priced £14.99, the Jacob's Creek Centenary Hill Shiraz £24.99 and St Hugo Cabernet Sauvignon at £19.99. The range will compete with South Corp's Penfolds brand and some French vineyards.
Earlier this year, the brand became the first wine company to use labels that indicate when the wine is cool enough to drink.
