Bookmaker William Hill is making a move into the online gambling
arena with a new international soccer betting site, aimed at punters in
the Far East, US and Europe.
The soccer site, which is operating from the Isle of Man, will not
initially be available to UK residents, although a version for the home
market is expected to be rolled out later in the year following the
launch of a specialist golf betting site in May.
Punters will only need to make a pounds 5 credit card deposit to start
betting - with some bets requiring a minimum stake of just ten
The initial launch is being backed by a pounds 40,000 banner campaign,
planned and bought by internet consultancy, E-Marketing, which designed
and built the site.
