For a man that couldn't give a fig about his hair, one mis-targeted email was from salon-collective.co.uk.
Despite my lack of interest, I had a good look - this company understood what it was talking about. The graphics and offers were punchy and I liked its special offers. So while it wasn't well targeted, I forwarded it to my wife and she bought a load of hair-care products. This email did its job in engaging me enough to forward it on to its real audience.
My next piece of mail was from breakingtravelnews.com, with some catchy headline about the Arabia market break-ing the exhibitor record. Wow, that's interesting for Arabia, but for a northerner like me, I think they found the wrong bloke.
It took me a while to fathom what the email was about, let alone who it was for. It claims to be a hotspot for travel news, but with so much Arabian news, there's only so much one can be thrilled about. Delete.
