The company, which was bought by BSkyB last October for £211m, is a sponsor of the British Olympic Association (BOA) and plans to expand its sports associations.
It has issued sports marketing agencies with a pan-European brief to explore further opportunities, Easynet's incumbent agency, Karen Earl, is expected to repitch for the business.
Easynet signed a three-year deal with the BOA prior to the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, where it was the official broadband supplier of the British Olympic team. The deal also included this year's Turin Winter Olympics.
Easynet provides broadband across Europe and supplies about 4.4m homes and 700,000 businesses in the UK.
Sky's takeover of the company marked its first venture into broadband.
