BT Cellnet has appointed Tracy Hirth, One 2 One’s former marketing
communications manager, as head of advertising and brands.
Although her job title will be different, Hirth will effectively step
into BT Cellnet’s brand director position, currently held by Andrew
Collinson, who was responsible for Cellnet’s rebranding as BT Cellnet,
has been promoted to the new position of head of marketing
In his new role, he will be responsible for planning all marketing
A spokesman said Hirth, who will report directly to BT Cellnet marketing
director Kent Thexton, will oversee all above-the-line advertising. She
will also be responsible for corporate communications, public relations,
sponsorship and market research.
Hirth, who starts next week, was responsible for liaising with agencies
at One 2 One and reported to marketing director Tim Yates.
