Smith joins Reebok from Service Innovation Group, where she had been managing director. Prior to that, she worked at Adidas for 10 years, rising up through the ranks from the sales and marketing department to the managing director post for the UK & Ireland before leaving in 2000.
She has also worked for Mars and Guinness Brewing, achieving considerable success in sales, marketing and operations.
Smith replaces Barry Leach, who moves on to become Reebok's UK head of finance.
The new appointment is the latest personnel shift at Reebok following a reshuffle in May, in which former Adidas global marketing chief Uli Becker was made head of global marketing at Reebok after the departure of predecessor Dennis Baldwin.
Reebok, which was bought by Adidas last year for $3.8bn, recently unveiled Arsenal striker Thierry Henry and Chelsea frontman Andrei Shevchenko as the firm's latest brand ambassadors.
