BAA has called off the pitch for its pounds 4.5m advertising account,
leaving Bates Dorland with the business. It is not known if this is
linked to the impending departure of retail marketing manager Claire
Porsche Cars has appointed top marketer Adrian Hallmark to managing
director, following the departure of Kevin Gaskell to become managing
director of BMW.

MasterCard and EuroPay International are to create a new joint
acceptance logo for the MasterCard and Eurocard brands. The move will
merge the two existing logos and is expected to be followed by a pan-
European ad campaign next year.
