Digital creative agency Grand Union has been appointed by The Department of Education and Skills to create an online ad campaign and site to drive awareness of the financial help available to students in higher education.

Haymarket has appointed OgilvyInteractive to redesign its Brand Republic site after a pitch. The agency will overhaul its online identity, architecture and interface design, ahead of a planned autumn relaunch.

Boots has recruited e-Dialog as its first email-marketing agency. E-Dialog will take full responsibility for advanced customer targeting, content management and tracking. This follows a successful two-month project in which the agency optimised Boots' newsletter programme.

Spinnaker has been hired as the retained agency across all BenQ-Siemens online strategy and creative work. Its remit will include web management, online ads, and email, search, and mobile marketing for the handset manufacturer, which plans to boost its web spend.

OgilvyOne has been hired by Waterstone's to handle a new six-month marketing drive. It follows the appointment of Manchester-based digital agency Code, which was hired to build the book publisher's first e-commerce site.

The Telegraph Group has chosen Revenue Science to offer behavioural targeting on It should enable marketers to more accurately target high-value readers interested in their brands anywhere on the site.

Interactive media agency Cimex has been hired to build a creative and inspirational online branding solution for Big Picture TV (BPTV).

Turner Broadcasting has selected interactive marketing agency Digital Outlook to create an online campaign for its Cartoon Network and Toonami children's channels.

MRM Worldwide (UK) has won the relationship marketing brief for the Newspaper Marketing Agency, following successful work on its ANNA Awards site in 2005.

Digital agency Carlson Marketing has won the brief to redesign Etihad Airways global e-commerce site and create a new one for the airline's Guest Recognition Loyalty Programme.
