The agency has been briefed to revitalise the brands and communications for the 750-strong Mercure chain and spa brand Accor Thalassa.
The work will include internal communications and provide the basis for creative agencies to develop consumer advertising.
Both brands are holding pitches to find a creative shop. Ne Kid will oversee the work created by the winning agencies.
Accor launched a campaign for its Novotel chain last month to shift perceptions of it as a budget brand. The £1.2m campaign, created by Young & Rubicam Paris, uses the strapline 'Designed for natural living' (Marketing, 11 October).
