Modern marketers’ desire to establish relationships with consumers will
be the theme of a major new event in next year’s marketing calendar
being organised by Haymarket Business Publications (HPB), the publishers
Marketing 97 - The Relationship Marketing Event will be at Olympia from
November 25 to 27. Haymarket is working on the event with Blenheim
Exhibitions and is to spend pounds 200,000 promoting it.
Research by Haymarket and Blenheim among senior client marketers shows
that relationship marketing is the most important issue for the future.
Three-fifths said they would attend.
Senior marketers at the three-day conference will be able to view
showreels from leading direct marketing agencies and get to grips with
the latest technology. There is also a computerised appointment system
and a free CD-ROM of the best in UK direct marketing.
‘Marketing 97 is an exhibition, a conference and a live networking event
for the marketing director of today and the marketing director of
tomorrow,’ said Martin Durham, managing director of HBP.
