Abbey National has re-centralised its brand marketing operation by
placing Sara Weller, director of customer marketing, in an enhanced role
overseeing communications for each of the bank’s product divisions. She
joined Abbey National from Mars last year following moves to devolve the
banks central marketing department into individual business units. The
bank is preparing to relaunch later this year.
