Goodyear calls European pitch

Goodyear, the world's biggest tyre and rubber manufacturer, is reviewing its pan-European point-of-sale, promotional material and dealership marketing agency arrangements.

The review is not expected to affect Claydon Heeley's four-year hold on the tyre manufacturer's pan-European direct marketing business. Goodyear recently began working with the agency on a project basis.

It is understood that the pitch is being handled by the company out of its Goodyear Dunlop Tyres Europe headquarters in Brussels.

The review, which is being led by Goodyear's European marketing director Hans Vrijsen, will not include the firm's Dunlop brand.
