Virgin Wines is offering a holiday on Richard Branson’s Necker
Island as the prize in a mass database-building marketing campaign ahead
of the launch of the wine web site.
’Word of Mouse’ will be promoted through Virgin.net, as well as partner
financial sites Interactive Investor International and The Motley
Offline promotion will follow through the Metro free newspaper
The competition, for a week’s holiday for four on the Caribbean island,
requires the entrant to give the e-mail addresses of the three friends
they plan to invite if they win.
Virgin Wines will contact them only once, unless they give permission
for further communication.
The Virginwines.com site will launch later this summer.
