Central Trains is reviewing its pounds 1m advertising account.
The Birmingham-based train operator's three-year contract with RBH is
drawing to a close, and the company has called a pitch seeking a
full-service agency with an integrated media planning department to
perform work with an emphasis on below-the-line and brand
The company is taking initial enquiries until June 21, when it will
shortlist between four and six agencies. The winner will be announced in
September, and will work on a campaign for January 2002.
Central Trains has run largely below-the-line work supplemented by
posters and some local press and radio ads.
