Vonage hires Altogether Digital for social media

LONDON - Internet telephone company, Vonage, has appointed Altogether Digital to drive its social media marketing to a non-tech audience.

This follows a strong of new agency appointments for Vonage, covering PR (Ambition Communications), online customer acquisition (Profero Performance), and a US click2chat supplier (inQ).

Altogether Digital's new appointment extends its existing SEO remit, and will see the agency use social media, recommendations and networks to raise awareness of Vonage. It will also provide advice and expert opinion.

Digital's social media activity will be designed to fully integrate with and support Vonage's on and offline creative and PR campaigns.

"Vonage remains committed to staying at the forefront of digital marketing - and the work we are undertaking with Altogether Digital is central to this vision," explained Vincent Potier, director of marketing at Vonage.

"We expect this integration of our SEO work with a social media marketing campaign to deliver interesting results.  This appointment completes our new agency line up and we are extremely excited about the strength of the combined team and the plans we have in place for 2008".
