G14 hands brand identity creation job to Marsteller

G14, the lobbying consortium of Europe's top football clubs, has

appointed WPP-owned design agency Marsteller to create its brand

identity.



Marsteller picked up the brief after a pitch in Paris against a number

of unnamed agencies.



Its sister PR agency Burson-Marsteller will handle corporate

communications for G14, while online activity will be created by Havas

Advertising Sports.net.The strapline 'G14: The Voice of the Clubs' will

be used.



It is thought G14's decision to create a corporate brand may lead the

group to develop a commercial presence, potentially resulting in the

formation of a European super league.
