- What would you be if you weren't a brand manager? A professional rugby player - might need a few weeks in the gym first though.

- How would you define marketing? The right product, in the right place, at the right time, at the right price

- What makes a good brand manager? Enthusiasm, persistence and imagination.

- If you could get tickets to any event, what would it be? The Olympic Games opening ceremony, or front-row seats at a U2 concert.

- Describe yourself in three words. Ambitious, passionate, sociable.

- What's your favourite bar and/or restaurant? For a bar, 360 in Dubai and Vertigo 42 in London are both stunning. For a restaurant, you'll struggle to beat China Grill in New York or Galvin at Windows in London.

- If you were a brand, what would it be? Guinness - 'Not everything in black and white makes sense' or, perhaps, 'Pure genius'.

- What headline would you like to read in Marketing? Hilton Hotels headquarters relocates to the Conrad Maldives.

- When was your finest hour? Announcing that we had trebled the membership of the Hilton Racing Club over the past year after merging it with our loyalty scheme.

- What's on your iPod at the moment? There are thousands of tracks, but the most-played are Jack Johnson's Flake, Red Hot Chilli Peppers' Snow, The Goo Goo Dolls' Slide and The Killers' All these things that I've done.
