Channel 4 is to host a seminar aimed at marketers in the higher
education sector to encourage them to consider TV advertising in their
drive to recruit students. Research by AC Nielsen MMS shows that more
than £12m was spent on advertising by the sector in 2001. The
sector's income is £12bn. The seminar 'Targeting students - the
power of TV' will be held at C4's London headquarters on February 7.
