Bray Leino won the £3m account from incumbent MG OMD, and will now oversee all creative marketing initiatives. The appointment is intended to recover The Royal Mint's falling sales in its collector-coin business.
The first task for the new strategic partners is to promote Royal Mint's four-year commemorative coin minting programme for the London 2012 Olympics. The first coin of this campaign will launch at public event, the Party in the Mall, in late August.
Incumbents MG OMD developed direct response campaigns to drive traffic to Royal Mint's corporate and retail websites.
