As well as a website with gooey games, there are Creme Egg pages on Facebook, Bebo and YouTube, where users can upload videos and pictures of themselves enjoying (and destroying) their Eggs. As Easter approaches, I'm sure there will be a lot more drunken student videos of Creme Egg destruction.
The tools on each site are well-used - the drawings created by fans on Bebo are awarded prizes (a dozen Creme Eggs, naturally) on the website - and users can vote for their favourite ad, with the winner to be given a special slot on TV.
Cadbury is pushing the idea of a Creme Egg 'season'. The website features a countdown timer showing how long you have left to stock up on the ovoid treats, pushing the fact that Creme Eggs aren't available all year round. I don't know what Cadbury has planned for when the timer reaches zero, but as a big fan of the gooey little ones, I'm hoping for something suitably messy.
