Ferrero launches competition for new 'Kinder Boy'

LONDON - Ferrero chocolate brand Kinder Chocolate Mini Treats is set to launch a competition to find a new face to represent the brand.

The search will run throughout the UK and Ireland and is set to launch mid-June. The brand is looking for six ‘funny’ kids aged 4-to-11 to appear on-pack.

Parents will be able to take part by submitting a picture, plus an amusing quote or anecdote, of the child. The 100 children with the most votes will reach the semi-finals and receive a prize. The winning six children we appear on the pack alongside their quotes.

The brand has featured a picture of a boy on the front since its 1967 launch. The current ‘Kinder Boy’ is the fourth and has been on the pack since 1997.
