High-street betting retailer Coral is aiming to raise awareness of
its EuroBet service with a six-figure campaign capitalising on the
excitement surrounding this year's Rugby League Cup.
The multi-disciplined programme kicked off last month with the help of
record English try scorer Martin Offiah MBE, who put in photocall
appearances at pubs in the South of England at the time of the launch
game against Australia.
The campaign, through Tarantula Responsive Communications, will run
until 25 November, with Offiah making further appearances at bar venues
in the North of England, and sampling teams handing out free bet offers
to be used at Coral outlets or via the phone or Internet.
'These events, which follow on from Euro 2000 activity, aim to raise the
profile of Eurobet and to demonstrate the diversity of sports that you
can place bets on,' said Tarantula director Mark Huntley.
