The new store will open in Manchester Airport this week.
The brand was saved by hosiery and textiles manufacturer the Ruia Group, which bought the chain out of administration in 2006.
Amit Ruia, head of retail, said the airport store was intended to be the first of at least 10 outlets to open at airports in the UK over the next five years.
The brand has operated as an online store until now.
Last month it was reported that Sock Shop was planning to expand its online presence with a series of product-focused sites, including one for personalised socks.
