The ads, by incumbent agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty, will break next month in the UK and the US.
The last TV campaign broke in September 2007, and showed BA cabin crew handing out drinks to tourists in Sydney. BA rolled out a US-only TV spot last year, also by BBH, to promote the opening of Terminal 5.
BA has also announced that for the first time it is inviting other brands to buy advertising space on its website and boarding cards. The first advertiser is Jaguar, promoting its XJ model. The airline's publishing and media sales agency, Cedar Communications, is responsible for selling the space.
Elsewhere, former BA head of marketing communications Katherine Whitton has joined Barclaycard as UK marketing director.
