The £3m ad, by agency Team Saatchi, has the strapline ‘don't be a tourist' and shows Spacey explaining the ‘emotional' benefits of the Olympus Pen. It breaks on 16 November.
The new Olympus PEN is a remake of the 1959 model. It targets keen photographers aged 30-50.
Mark Thackara, national marketing manager for Olympus, said: ‘We have a history of creating memorable and impactful campaigns. Our ambition for PEN is to create a completely new category.'
Olympus appointed Team Saatchi to handle the advertising for its latest camera, after a pitch against the incumbent, The Red Brick Road, and Bonfire Creative Intelligence.
