The brand's interactive manager, Jude Brooks, is overseeing the brief, which spans green issues and marketing to children. It is understood to have drawn up a shortlist of agencies that will pitch early next month.
Coca-Cola said last year it was planning to step up its European CSR activity with the extension of its US umbrella brand, Live Positively.
In September, it launched its first pan-European 'Live Positively Week', which focused on packaging and recycling. As part of this initiative it encouraged Coke employees across 38 countries to collect waste.
