The campaign will highlight the station's premiership football coverage and will use difference creative work to target both Liverpool and Everton fans.
It will highlight its weeknight and weekend sports shows and will feature footballer faces John Aldridge, Ian St John, Ian Snodin and Graeme Sharp with the strapline 'We've got balls.....have you?'
The campaign, which starts this week, will run across poster sites around Goodison Park and Anfield as well as on bus sides across the city and will run for four weeks.
City Talk Sport will also be targeting listeners via a new City Talk e-flyer to highlight the sports programming.
