Digital & Direct: Beck's backs Fusions event

 

Beck's is using an online strategy to promote its Beck's Fusions music event next month.

The lager brand is inviting musicians and artists to unite to create original content for the event. This year it will culminate in a performance by United Visual Artists with Massive Attack.

To promote Beck's Fusion, artists have been invited to create pieces inspired by a track by music act Does It Offend You, Yeah?

Beck's has also launched Art Beat, an online music mixer that features samples provided by musicians including Moby. Users can compile tracks and then enter a competition by uploading them to Myspace.com/becksfusions through a deal brokered by i-level.

The winners will be invited to take part in a Live Studio event, created by Dare.
