Nintendo launches latest celebrity TV ads

 

LONDON - Nintendo UK is launching a celebrity-filled TV and outdoor campaign for its DS handheld, Wii console and games, with stars of music, sport and TV appearing with their families.

The campaign, which breaks on 27 October, will feature Girls Aloud, Jamie and Louise Redknapp, Fern Britton and husband Phil Vickery, and Ronan Keating with wife Yvonne and their children.

Girls Aloud can be seen playing Nintendogs and Mario Kart DS in the studio and while relaxing at home; Keating plays Dr Kawashima's Brain Training and then joins his family to play Big Brain Academy; Britton uses Cooking Guide: Can't Decide What to Eat? to create a meal for her celebrity chef husband. Actors Patrick Stewart and Julie Walters also appear in an ad, using Brain Training on a plane.

In an ad for the Nintendo Wii, the Redknapps can be seen playing Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wii Sports and Wii Fit.
