It has emerged that finance director Grant Murray has left the business after eight years at the channel following new Five chief executive Dawn Airey's decision to draft in consultants Eden McCallum to assist the broadcaster to carry out a review of its business.
Five said Murray left before the review began in earnest and that it has replaced him with financial controller David Hockley.
Redundancies across the business are expected, with the consultants currently conducting interviews throughout the sales, digital and marketing teams.
The move follows last month's departure of Ben Gale, director of programmes for Five, after the appointment of Richard Woolfe as channel controller.
