OFT recommends relaxing ad rules for ITV

LONDON - The OFT has indicated that the Contract Rights Renewal mechanism, which was introduced to protect advertisers from the dominance of ITV following the merger of Carlton and Granada in 2003, will be overhauled but not removed completely.
