Twitter hits 1.2 billion Tweets per month as Pixar exec hired

LONDON - Speculation that Twitter's growth has stalled has been scotched by new figures that show a record 1.2 billion tweets were sent last month as Pixar's financial chief Ali Rowghani is hired - another indication of the site's intent to be profitable.
