Commissioner bares 'very sharp teeth' to marketers in data debate

LONDON - The Information Commissioner last night hinted he could make an early example of any organisation found to be flouting data protection laws, once the maximum fine he can impose is increased from £5,000 to £500,000 on 6 April.
